Your newsfeed on Facebook, Twitter or any other gadget and gizmo site may have been convoluted mainly by iPhone 4S news. Rumors are scattered here and there, speculations about the features and specs have been strewn in all places – but all of these are expected to be silenced on the 4th of October, the scheduled announcement for the new iPhone iteration. For the meantime, let’s set aside all these worries for the iPhone 5. Instead, let’s leap further by a mile and see what would happen next after iPhone 5 has reached the sweaty and excited palms of the consumers. What’s the next big thing, if not what’s left in store for the iPhone 6?

iPhone 6 to Boast a Redesign

In a report published by a Hungarian bank, the 6th iteration of the iPhone will boast a new design and advanced hardware specifications. The said report alleged that the iPhone 6 will be released sometime during the first half of 2012. Also, the author of the said report shared that the main focus of the iPhone 5 release will be the new iOS 5, rather than marketing a fully redesigned and reinvented appearance. This may be given credit since it has also been emphasized by Philip Schiller, Senior Vice President of the Apple World Product Marketing. Says Schiller, “If you are an iOS or Mac OS X software developer, this is the event that you do not want to miss”, referring to the launch of the iPhone 5 and the iOS 5.

iPhone 6 Processor

Meanwhile, it has been rumored that the iPhone 5 will not have the A6 processor yet – it is a hardware spec meant for the iPhone 6. The A6 would be a groundbreaking achievement as it will enable running high end features like 4G and 3D displays – without the thermal disadvantages of an A5 chip.

A Late Summer Release

It is apparent that the delayed release of the iPhone 5 this year has caused frustration and disappointment to many iPhone users and tech specialists… however; they refuse to believe that this will also be the trend for the iPhone 6 release. Many analysts have also recognized the idea of releasing iPhone during September as it is a perfect month to start on a good investment, as it is the start of school and everyone gets back to work from vacation. September is also viewed as the beginning of the holiday rush.

Blowing Up the Screen Size

Many iPhone 6 rumors actually depend on the iPhone 5. No one knows what the iPhone 5 will look like but there is a large possibility that large screened iPhones may be released in 2012. It may be recalled that for the entire years iPhones have existed, the public was only able to experience two different designs… with iPhone 4 representing the second overhaul. While many iPhone 5 rumors point out to another major overhaul, many experts believe that the said rumor is too early to be materialized and most likely to push through in the iPhone 6.
